Many homeowners look forward to enjoying their outdoor living space. Whether you’re sunbathing by your pool, hosting an outdoor BBQ, or relaxing on your patio, mosquitos can quickly ruin the fun. However, mosquitos are more than just a nuisance – they carry and spread diseases that are harmful to pets and people. That’s why homeowners choose mosquito control in Cordova and Memphis. At AAA Termite & Pest Control, we offer a customizable and effective mosquito treatment so that you can reclaim your backyard.

Why mosquito control matters

Mosquitos are flying insects that bite their host for blood, leaving behind an irritating, itchy bump. These biting insects are known to carry and spread 28 diseases, including West Nile, encephalitis, dengue, and malaria. These diseases can be harmful to pets and people. In fact, mosquito bites on dogs are what lead to heartworm. There are more than 3,000 species of mosquitos, and 176 are established in the U.S. Mosquito control is essential to prevent spreading diseases.

What type of solution is used for mosquito treatment?

Memphis’s mosquito control company, AAA Termite & Pest Control, uses a growth regulator solution that stops existing mosquitos and prevents new eggs from hatching. We also use a backpack mister to apply the solution. Homeowners should allow 30 minutes for the solution to dry before entering the treated area.

How often are the mosquito treatments applied?

For best results, we recommend treatments once every three to four weeks, weather permitting. Our schedulers do their best to schedule your treatment around significant rainfall.

Where are mosquito treatments applied?

Our Memphis pest control technicians apply mosquito solutions to tall grass, brush, shrubs, and low-hanging branches. Standing water should be removed, like in playground equipment, flower pots, and other small items on your property that may harbor water.

How much does mosquito control cost in Memphis?

Our prices are based on the size of your yard or the treatment area. Our smallest and most popular package treats up to 10,000 square feet or about a quarter of an acre. Please contact our Memphis mosquito specialists to learn about our pricing. We also are happy to provide you an estimate for larger areas needing treatment.

No Contract. Cancel Anytime.

Our mosquito control services do not require a contract, so you cancel your services at any time. However, as with other pest control services, a once-and-done treatment will not provide lasting results. You should commit to full-season mosquito treatments to get the best results. While you can begin services at any point during mosquito season, it’s best to schedule your first treatment in early spring in April, before the first eggs hatch. Continue treatments all summer long until about Labor Day to ensure that little to no mosquito eggs hatch. We also offer an option to continue services through October.
