- Wash and put away all dishes, cleaning the sink afterward
- Store food in sealed containers
- Vacuum or clean the floors
- Clean pantry, and the inside of cabinets and drawers to remove crumbs
- Empty trash regularly
- Be sure to rinse recyclables if kept inside
- Avoid leaving your pet’s food out
- Store pet’s food in a sealed container
